The Great Erdrejan Fayre 1st-5th June.
The Summer Moot 3rd-5th August.
The Gathering 24th-27th August.

Details about the event will follow later in winter rune however we wanted to get the dates our to you as soon as possible.

The Lorien Trust are proud to have been in the news recently as the Department for Transport (DoT) released figures that showed its staff visited the Bears faction forum regularly in the last year.

As one of ten factions in the game world of Erdreja, the Bears faction celebrates the peoples of Caledonia. The Bears forum provides an opportunity for players to chat, catch up and get advice and information from one another.

The forum, like a number of other faction’s forums, is a website which has been set up and is maintained by volunteers to facilitate players’ involvement in the Lorien Trust.

Since the news broke about the browsing habits of DoT staff the Bears faction website has had an unprecedented number of hits.

Online Booking

We regret to inform you that the online booking system will not be ready this year as we had intended. If you wish to prebook for either the Summer Moot or the Gathering you will need to download a booking form and post it in. If you are unable to print off a form then please contact the office via phone or email to bookings@lorientrust.com and ask for a booking form to be sent out to you. Please bear in mind, however, that we are currently in the field preparing the site for the GEF. This may unfortunately have an impact on our response times.

Failure to wear a wristband may result in penalty charges.

It has come to our attention that some players avoided paying the £10 early entry fee for arriving and pitching on a Thursday at the Spring Moot. As a result, our Event Support team will be conducting additional sweeps of the field and bar area checking wristbands. If you are found not to be wearing a wristband, you will incur an additional £10 penalty charge.

If you find that you have lost or broken your wristband for any reason then please ensure you pay a visit to our friendly Event Support Team as soon as possible for a replacement to avoid having to pay any penalty charge.

Gate Ticket Prices

There have been some enquiries regarding on-the-gate ticket prices for those attending events late or for only part of the event. A pricing structure for on-the-gate admissions follows.

Please Note: If you arrive on site at any point and do not encounter our staff on the gate, before you set up any camping equipment, you must report to our 24 hour Event Support to acquire a ticket and wristband.

For the Summer Moot

• Gate opens at 2pm on Thursday the cost will be £10 early entry and £60 admission

• If you arrive after 10am on Friday the cost will be £60 admission

• If you arrive after 10am on Saturday the cost will be £50 admission

• If you arrive after 10am on Sunday the cost will be £20 admission

For the Gathering

• Gate opens at 2pm on Thursday the cost will be £10 early entry and £70 admission

• If you arrive after 10am on Friday the cost will be £70 admission

• If you arrive after 10am on Saturday the cost will be £60 admission

• If you arrive after 10am on Sunday the cost will be £40 admission

• If you arrive after 10am on the Monday the cost will be £20 admission

Late Evening or Early Morning Arrivals

Rules Changes for 2011

Following feedback over 2010, as well as player interactions with plot, the following Rules are being permanently changed:

Death and Dying.
From 1st January 2011 we are changing the rules on what happens when all locations are at -1.
Currently, unless you are under a sanctuary, if all your locations are at -1 your character will immediately die.

The New Rule is as follows:
If all your locations are at -1 you will enter your grace period (if you are not already in one) and if the current time remaining in the grace period is higher than 4 minutes it will immediately drop to 4 minutes.

While all locations are at -1 you may not regenerate damage unless a Loresheet or Lammie specifically states that you may regenerate when at -1 on all locations.
Note: This does not affect normal curative or healing actions, only the Regeneration effect. This rule change does not alter how the Wasting effect works in any way.

Special Creatures and Powers
From the start of the Spring moot 2011 all Special Creatures and Special Powers should have an explicit power rating. If you have one of these cards without an explicit power rating on them you may bring your card to Game Control to have it replaced. All Special Creatures/Special Powers without an explicit Power Rating may still be used, however from the start of the Spring Moot they count as Power Rating 6 for all calculations until the card is replaced with its new individual Power Rating. This is to bring Special Creatures and Powers in line with the rest of the power rating system.

Special Items/Powers/Creatures/Weapons/Liquids
From 10am Monday of the Gathering 2011 all such Lammies will become invalid if they do not have an explicit power rating.

Note: they will not be allowed to be used In-Game or in the Gathering battle and any lammie replacement requests started on the Monday will be processed after the event.

Please remeber that event booking will not be available until the 5th January and this should be when we send our online booking live too.
